Figs Leave a reply My fig tree is bearing much fruit this year. I have to pick them before birds or squirrels get to them. This one reached a tasty ripeness. The above fig is still on the green side. Share this:TwitterFacebookEmailPinterestTumblrLike this:Like Loading...
Dandelion Close-up Leave a reply I never really had a good look at dandelions until I got my camera. Share this:TwitterFacebookEmailPinterestTumblrLike this:Like Loading...
Wasp Leave a reply I never would have thought this wasp would have been unfazed by my presence. It let me shoot away as it was focused on it’s hive. At times it seemed very focused on me and my camera. It was more preoccupied with making a safe place for the eggs. Share this:TwitterFacebookEmailPinterestTumblrLike this:Like Loading...
Snails 2 Replies At the macro level, I learned that even snails can move too fast. I had to keep my hand on the manual focus at all times. The next 2 photos show a tiny insect by the small antennae holding on to dear life. Share this:TwitterFacebookEmailPinterestTumblrLike this:Like Loading...
Snail Duet Leave a reply I had put 4 snails on a medium size branch and these two found each other within 10 minutes. Share this:TwitterFacebookEmailPinterestTumblrLike this:Like Loading...
Insects on a prickly pear cactus Leave a reply These insects made their home on a large prickly pear cactus this summer. When the flowers dried and fell, they moved elsewhere. I’m not sure if that was a coincidence. These moved as a unit. When I put my hand near them, they evenly spread apart. What will the cactus attract next summer?
