Sprouting Cactus Pads

Ever noticed how cactus grows new pads?

Many seem to pop out near decayed parts of the plant.

I never would have thought this wasp would have been unfazed by my presence. It let me shoot away as it was focused on it’s hive.

At times it seemed very focused on me and my camera.

It was more preoccupied with making a safe place for the eggs.

A bee picture

I waited a minute or two for this photo which lasted 1/400th of a second. I have learned not to chase and follow bees from flower to flower. Instead I stuck by one flower and waited for a bee to stop by. Bee photography 101 I bet.
