Insects on a prickly pear cactus Leave a reply These insects made their home on a large prickly pear cactus this summer. When the flowers dried and fell, they moved elsewhere. I’m not sure if that was a coincidence. These moved as a unit. When I put my hand near them, they evenly spread apart. What will the cactus attract next summer?
